Thank you for volunteering to be a West Tampa Little League Team Mom!
Your willingness to get involved and make a difference means that the players and parents will have the best possible experience. Your primary responsibility during the season is to act as the “go-to” person for the parents and to make sure important information from the coach or league is relayed.
There are several tasks that need to be accomplished, including the following:
- Attending the team mom meeting to kick off the season.
- Make sure there is a circle of communication for the team (ie. GroupMe)
- Distribution and collection of picture packets.
- Coordinating with coach for uniform sizes & numbers
- Coordinating with coach for uniform pick-up and distribution.
- Coordinating End of Season team party and coach’s gift collection (optional)
There is a lot to get done, several of your duties can be delegated or shared with other parents on your team. Remember, many people are willing to volunteer, they just need to know how they can help. Thank you again for your time! See you at the ballpark!
