The Minor A Division is an extension before the Little League Major Division.
This division accommodates a wide range of players, but mostly those who are league age 9 & 10. Advanced 8-year-olds are allowed to tryout, along with 11-year-olds with minimal baseball experience who decline participation in the Major Division. Exceptions can be made for 12-year-olds, should they be approved by the board and signed off by the district administrator in addition to the parent signing the
applicable waiver form. Players league age 12 are not permitted to pitch.
In this competitive division, players pitch from 46 feet and there is no coach intervention. Offensive innings are capped at 5 runs and may play a total of 6 innings.
No new inning may start after 90 minutes.
