It is to ensure a level of safety: emotionally and physically to all players who participate in youth sports. West Tampa Little League is no exception, and the city of Tampa requires they monitor this compliance through their background screening processes Found Here.

Additionally, Volunteers must complete the following trainings to remain in compliance:

Annual Abuse Awareness Training - Found Here using USA Baseball's BASE Program

Annual Concussion Training - Found Here using the CDC's developed Heads Up Program

Once a volunteer is sufficiently background checked, WTLL provides credentials to identify their compliance.
