Major Baseball is the highest division in Little League before the introduction of either 70 foot or 90 foot bases. If you are familiar with the Little League World Series played on ESPN every August, this is the division those children qualify from.
Players are mainly aged 11 and 12, making it an advanced division. Players who are league age 10 are eligible to tryout. Players at this division will have made substantial strides in a position they have become comfortable in, whether that is throwing consistent strikes as pitcher, throwing out would-be base stealers at catcher or enjoying success as a hitter (since some players may hit a home run at this division!)
The Division follows all the same rules as Minor A, except there are no offensive run caps per inning. making pitching and defense an important aspect to the division. Players follow the
Pitching limits associated with their age.
